Chrigel Maurer (SUI1), Maxime Pinot (FRA1) and Thomas Friedrich (AUT3) are on the podium of the Prologue of the Red Bull X-Alps 2021. The winner and runner-up may not be the most surprising, as they finished their last Red Bull X-Alps in exactly the same order. Well done to both! We are looking forward to seeing your battle as the race starts.
Thomas Friedrich finishing third place, however, is an amazing feat. He is new to the Red Bull X-Alps and only 20 years old. He has said earlier that he's been working on his flying skills for the last ten years and worked on his physical strenghth every day the past year. "I really feel I can make it to the finish." Let's hope he can keep this pace up!
