Tommy Friedrich (AUT3) had a bitter disappointment yesterday, not getting up high and be at the back of the pack. He wasn't deterred however and in great spirits, saying this is what happens in a race and just to carry on. This morning he did just that, climbed up to a tune his supporter put on. The pair were basically dancing their way to the top, flew into TP2 Wagrain-Kleinarl, hiked up again and are now preparing for a flight. If conditions for flying turn on as expected, he might get up and fly all the way to TP3 Kitzbühel-Hahnenkamm, and gain a few places.
