The Swiss leaders Chrigel Maurer (SUI1) and Patrick von Känel (SUI2) are on foot, racing up the flanks of the mountains west of Lermoos that reach up to almost 2400m. They are chased hard by Benoît Outters (FRA2). The trio will launch as soon as they can find a suitable place to make the most out of the rest of the flying day. It looks like thunderstorms and strong wind will make flying unlikely later.
