Catching up
Benoît Outters (FRA2) managed to get up fairly high at 2200m above the village and well known paragliding site of Passy. He glided over the Contamines valley after the race leaders and managed to reach the flanks of Mont Blanc about 500m higher than Maxime Pinot (FRA1) and Chrigel Maurer (SUI1). That means he potentially can climb up higher and closer to Turnpoint 9 Mont Blanc and tag it quicker than the others.
