Largest ever line-up revealed

They come from all over the world and consist of record-breaking adventurers, Olympic athletes, champion pilots and exploratory climbers. They are all united by one desire – to compete in the Red Bull X-Alps 2023, the world’s toughest adventure race.

Day 1

The first selected athletes to compete in Red Bull X-Alps 2023 were revealed on Tuesday! The mix included veterans and rookies alike including big hitters like Paul Guschlbauer (AUT2), Aaron Durogati (ITA2), Tobias Grossrubatscher (ITA1), as well as Damien Lacaze (FRA2), who made an impressive debut in 2021 and Yael Margelisch (SUI3). Day 2

The second round of athletes for the world's toughest adventure race was announced on Facebook on Wednesday. They included last year’s second and third place athletes Patrick von Känel (SUI2) and Simon Oberrauner (AUT1) as well as three female athletes, Laurie Genovese (FRA3), who returns after a heroic performance in 2021 and two rookies, Celine Lorenz (GER3) and Elisabeth Egger (AUT4). Day 3

The complete line-up of Red Bull X-Alps 2023 was announced today! It consists of 35 athletes from 18 countries – the largest entry ever – with five women taking part, also the most women we’ve ever seen in the race. Race reporter Tarquin Cooper chatted with athlete Tom de Dorlodot who will also be racing in 2023.
