WORD FROM THE BACK

After a strong start, Nick Neynens (NZ1) was one of the first to land after the early flight from Turnpoint 1 Gaisberg. Now in 31st place, he's in high spirits and hoping to catch the leaders tomorrow. 'The others caught a few more thermals after I landed which let them get a lead on me, but they're not too far away, and the landcsape here is beautiful so all is good. I've done a lot of hiking with Rodolphe Akl (LBN) and we took a few shortcuts through the woods. Luckily, we didn't run into any fences or barking dogs. My supporters are nearby now and I'm looking forward to a good feed.' Good luck tomorrow, Nick!
