Patrick Von Kanel (SUI3), in fifth, is really closing the gap on Paul Guschlbauer (AUT1) and Benoit Outters (FRA1), who is now narrowly in third. He must still tag Turnpoint 11 Monte Viso, but he can do this from the air by flying through the 2.25km radius cyclinder centred on the mountain's summit. He is currently just 24km behind Guschlbauer, who is on the ground, and flying at around 50km/h.
