From the top of turnpoint 5 where we had to cross a NE line from the zugspitze, tallest mtn in Germany. Rob and I spent the previous night in a hut halfway up the west face, then I woke up at 5 and tagged the summit before spiralling 6000ft back down to lermoos to sign the turnpoint board. It was a gloriously beautiful morning. That was 5 days ago. So much has happened since...including a broken phone in the rain, a leg injury, an airspace penalty, and countless spectacular experiencing in the air and on the ground in the Swiss Alps.
