Leading from the front, Christian Maurer (SUI1) and Paul Guschlbauer (AUT1) are moving together at about 1200m, with Kaoru Ogisawa (JPN) on lower ground nearby. Taking a more northerly line, Benoit Outters (FRA1), in first place, is at 1800m near Hochkonig with Toma Coconea (ROU). We can expect flying before too long, but can they make Turnpoint 3 Aschau-Chiemsee in a single flight? Conditions on the ground are reportedly promising. A good day today could really divide the field.

Race starts June 11, 2023 at 11:30am CEST in Kitzbühel
