Athletes at the front are converging on foot on TP4 Chiemgau-Achental. There are two parts to this TP. First, they must pass through a 3km cylinder which is centred close to the lake. Then they must turn back on themselves and head 10km to Marquartstein where that must sign a signboard at race partner Skywalk's HQ. This area belongs to the scenic Chiemgau and Achental regions, part of the German Alps.
