TURNPOINT 11 MONTE VISO

Turnpoint 11 Monte Viso (3841m) is another Turnpoint where athletes do not need to land. Instead, they must enter a 2250m cylinder around the centre of the Turnpoint. How do athletes know when they have entered this imaginary cylinder in the air? They all carry a flight instrument – athletes program the Turnpoint and its cylinder into their instrument. When they reach it, the instrument will sound an alert to let them know they have tagged it. They can also see it on the instrument's screen.
