Anything can happen in the Red Bull X-Alps. As all athletes are still relatively close, a small decision can prove to change everything. Maxime Pinot (FRA1) who had a comfortable lead earlier today, has landed after a short flight with which he hoped to improve his lead. Instead, a large group decided to walk up just a bit further up the hill, flew down and is overtaking him. Markus Anders leading, but the others are catching up, Chrigel Maurer (SUI1) among them. They needed to get on the ground fast, making their stop time at 9pm.
