THE EIGER ADVENTURE

The Red Bull X-Alps isn't just a race, it's an adventure. And what better symbol of Alpine adventure than the Eiger. The 3,967m summit was first climbed in 1858, but it's fearsome north face wasn't completed until 1938. Because of the size of the Turnpoint 8 cylinder, the athletes don't have to get to the top of the mountain to officially reach it, but they will be right in its shadow. Maxime Pinot (FRA4) will likely be the next athlete there.
