The field split up yesterday in a group that went south from Turnpoint 5 Lermoos - Tiroler Zugspitz Arena and north. At the moment it looks like the south route, although it looked like a really tricky move yesterday with strong winds, paid off so far. This morning as well, the four athletes on the south route: Chrigel Maurer (SUI1), Patrick von Känel (SUI2), Benoît Outters (FRA2) and Aaron Durogati (ITA1) are flying, as the others north are still hiking or waiting to take off.
