With Red Bull X-Alps 2019 around the corner you might already want to get yourself into race mode. No worries, we've got you!

Relive every step in our recap of the greatest moments; from intense battles and mesmerizing live footage to the athlete’s unique insights. This was Day 9 of the last Red Bull X-Alps in 2017!

Pulling a Ledlenser Night Pass, our Race Reporter (who was already in Peille the night before) raced back into Italy to catch up with Chrigel "The Eagle" Maurer (SUI1).

Paul Guschlbauer (AUT1) and Manuel Nübel (GER2) felt the strain and relied heavily on help from their supporters. Pascal Purin (AUT3) and Stanislav Mayer (CZE) were in pursuit of the leaders, whilst Pál Takáts sat out a 48 hour penalty. Maurer (SUI1) and Benoît Outters (FRA4) held on to 1st and 2nd respectively.
