Race leaders to fly down at 6.45pm
Chrigel Maurer (SUI1) and Benoit Outters (FRA4) will both fly down from Peille this evening at 18:45, weather conditions allowing.
Both athletes reached the final turnpoint at Peille today, where their time stopped. They must now fly down to Roquebrune to officially finish the race.
Strict rules govern flying at Peille during the summer months, which means athletes may only land at Roquebrune beach after 7pm. Roquebrune is the official end of the race.
The Red Bull X-Alps finishes tomorrow, Friday at 10.53. All athletes still in the race have until then to reach Peille.
