Antoine Girard (FRA3) may have had to withdraw from the Red Bull X-Alps due to knee problems, but that didn’t stop him from joining the crowd yesterday on the summit of Mont Blanc (4810m). In an historic day for paragliding in Chamonix, exceptionally high cloudbase and light winds allowed up to 200 pilots to fly up to the summit of Western Europe’s highest peak.
