Navigating the treeline

The Swiss have played their move well. While Durogati (ITA1) went on a downwind glide from TP6 Säntis it looks like he got low and couldn't commit to the higher ground in front of him because of the forest. Going low over forest is a no-no – otherwise you run the risk of landing in a tree. Instead he flew along the edge of it and landed. SUI1 and SUI2 meanwhile have take a line slightly north, putting them in a better position if they have to land and need to start to hike west to get around Lake Walansee. Unless of course the plan is to hike up the Leistchamm ahead, re-launch and fly across the lake.
