MAXIME GETS SOME SLEEP
Maxime Pinot (FRA4) remains in second place and is now headed for high ground. Despite pulling a Night Pass, he remains 50km behind Christian Maurer (SUI1). His team says: 'We took the Night Pass at Turnpoint 7 Titlis as conditions were very bad there and it would have been a long hike down. But he managed to fly off, so after a very tough day, we decided it was better for Maxime to get some sleep. He got four hours in bed and is now heading for a high mountain and hopes to fly.'
