Maxime Pinot (FRA1) and Aaron Durogati (ITA1) have pulled ahead of the main gaggle. Both are veteran Red Bull X-Alps athletes and just happen to be two of the best at racing paragliders in the world. Now they have got into the bigger hills and mountains towards the main Austrian Alps they are finding better conditions, with climbs to 2000m. This means they will be able to take advantage of that to race through the mountains at full speed.
