When there's little hope of a flight, the best tactic is often to follow the valleys. The terrain is generally flat, there's a hard surface to run on and your supporters are always nearby. At the moment, the field has split into two groups. One heading around the western side of the Fritzerkogel and the other around the east. Only Aaron Durogati (ITA1) is going over the top. His plan is to bivouac up high and fly from the summit in the morning. It's a brave move – will it pay off?
