Krischa Berlinger

Krischa Berlinger (SUI2) has withdrawn from the Red Bull X-Alps 2017. He has been suffering from leg and foot pain for the last 48 hours, and can no longer make progress on foot.

Berlinger was 52km from Turnpoint 5, Monte Baldo, yesterday evening when he decided to withdraw. He had covered 587km of the straight-line route, a little over half.

A supporter in the Red Bull X-Alps in 2015, this was his first year as an athlete in the competition.
