In the thrilling foot race at the back, Kinga Masztalerz (NZL) has narrowed Chikyong Ha's (KOR) lead to just 1km – that's a 2km gain in the last hour or so. Ha is suffering from bad feet and Masztalerz may just be able to overtake him – and avoid the Axeman at 6am tomorrow. They are now both running down a road in the middle of a valley.
