Many of the athletes are now flying south towards Turnpoint 2, Wagrain-Kleinarl. Their proximity to one another will be a huge advantage as each athlete can assess the progress of those around them to identify the best lift and worst sink. Later in the race, they will often be flying alone, so it's worth making the most of the 'gaggle' flying now.
