Christian Maurer (SUI1) is almost at Turnpoint 10 St Hilaire. The village, however, is on a ledge above the valley at around 900m. The Turnpoint here is a cylinder with a 100m radius, which athletes must enter. Despite this, the radius is too small for athletes to be able to enter it from the valley so Maurer will have to make the ascent. His team says he will now either climb up to the village, or make the ascent earlier and try to fly through the turnpoint instead.
