FLYING DAY STARTS

As the race enters its final 24 hours it’s clear that the flying day has turned on. Petiot (FRA2), Nubel (GER1) and Durogati (ITA1) are flying – and climbing to heights of 3300m. That’s good news for making distance and escaping the valley winds lower down. Further back, athletes in Switzerland are all up and in the air too.
