Manuel Nubel (GER2) was withdrawn from Red Bull X-Alps 2017. He is suffering from exhaustion and doesn't want to risk his health further.

Following discussion with the Race Committee, the German adventurer decided to stop his journey to Monaco.

Nubel was in 8th position, 209km from Monaco. He has covered 2,029.7km – 1,613.4km in the air and 416.3km on foot. His withdrawal leaves 20 athletes in the race.
