While the straight line distance from the Start, via Turnpoint 1 Gaisberg, to Turnpoint 2 Wagrain-Kleinharl is 64km, race leader Tomo Coconea (ROU) has already covered nearly 100km – and he has yet to reach Turnpoint 2. Factor this up over the whole race and the 1,138km course distance becomes substantially longer.
