DOWNWIND FLYING
Pilots are taking advantage of good conditions and a southeast wind to make fast progress towards Turnpoint 3, Aschau – Chiemsee. Paragliders can cover ground quickly when the wind is behind them – 50, 60 and even 70km/h are possible on a downwind glide.
