Darkness falls
Darkness has fallen across the Alps and there is no more flying allowed. Athletes are still out there, poles tapping, making the final few kilometres until they rest for the night, all excpet for Benoît Outters (FRA2) and Tobias Grossrubatscher (ITA2) who have Night Passes. There is no elimination tomorrow morning, but Kaoru Ogisawa (JPN1) is 30km behind Théo de Blic (FRA3) who is unable to move. His 48-hour penalty is starting tomorrow at 5am, so Ogi should pass him during the day. He was striding out very well earlier.
