Chrigel Maurer is a magician in the air. He has found a great climb on the south side of Fleckner, and is at 2,500m and still going up. From his track log you can see how he had to hunt down low to find the best bit of lift, then where it coils tightly and almost straight up with just a little bit of drift, he is right in the centre of the thermal, climbing evenly. As it gets weaker towards the top he is hunting again to find the strongest lift but he keeps circling, keeps climbing.
