Chrigel Maurer (SUI1) chose a more northerly route towards Turnpoint 10, Piz Palü, than Maxime Pinot (FRA1), Benoît Outters (FRA2), Simon Oberrauner (AUT2) and Patrick Von Känel (SUI2). He made fast progress along the south faces, and has now turned to head south towards the Turnpoint. His route may have been less direct, but it appears to be quicker; those on the southerly line are also flying, but making slower progress.
