Another early move sees Benoît Outters (FRA2) overtake the Swiss leaders Chrigel Maurer (SUI1) and Patrick von Känel (SUI2). Benoît took off from where he camped at a small lake and glided along the valley where the Swiss are hiking out from. He has the lead now, but he landed down in the valley and will have to hike back up before he can fly again, giving the Swiss a head start again.
