After sharing breakfast, Christian Maurer (SUI1) and Paul Guschlbauer (AUT1) are still battling it out at the front and making good progress towards Turnpoint 3 Aschau-Chiemsee. Both are flying at 1300-1800m (hardly in orbit), however, and conditions aren't easy. They also have the French pairing of Benoit Outters (FRA1) and Maxime Pinot (FRA4) hot on their tails. Either way, they're over halfway between Turnpoints 2 and 3 and it seems certain that several athletes will pass Aschau-Chiemsee before the day is over.
