Kaoru Ogisawa (JPN1) made his own plan today. While all other athletes were flying (and hiking) at the northern boundaries of the Alps, Ogi went much deeper into the mountains. After Turnpoint 4 Chiemgau-Achental he had an impressive flight, where he choose a route along the north side of the Inntal. After crossing the Achensee he flew on and dived deep into the mountains north of Innsbruck, to avoid airspace around the city. He finally landed near a village and is currently in 13th position.
