10am in the air
Twenty minutes after he launched for the first time, Maurer (SUI1) has launched again. This time the conditons look better, more usable, but that is not to say easy. He is soaring at about 1750m, flying back and forwards across the slope, using what lift there is to stay in the air. Not so far behind Maurer is Patrick von Känel (SUI2) – PvK has been pushing hard this morning and is in second place. He has closed the gap from 21km last night to 13km.
