Sebrand
Warren
Sebrand Warren has always wanted to fly, so much so that as a kid he once jumped off the garage roof holding a blanket over his head. His sister used to joke that one day he’d discover the secrets of gravity and fly away. He first learnt to paraglide in 2015 but the commitment proved too much and it wasn’t until 2019 that he tried again, this time under the wing of former US athlete Dave Turner. He hasn’t looked back since.
Originally from the Netherlands, Sebrand lived in America for many years where he studied industrial design at Carnegie Mellon University and has come up through the US ranks. He may only have been flying for almost five years but he’s been chasing it hard and building essential experience in the Alps. This includes competing in the X-Pyr and Dolomiti Super Fly races and flying long cross-country flights in France.
