Celine Lorenz took part in her second Red Bull X-Alps in 2025. After a pre-race ankle injury disrupted her 2023 debut, she had to stop this time 609.2 km from the finish.
Only woman in Red Bull X-Alps 2025, Celine Lorenz declared herself ready for battle: “I am training full-time and trying to think what I could improve from last time. In my head I’m already in Red Bull X-Alps.” Unfortunately, the German athlete was forced to withdraw 609.2 km from the finish.
Not everything went her way, such as when she was forced to land in a valley and hike for hours along a torrent. Yet her determination never wavered, once again proving herself among the most complete athletes to tackle the world’s toughest adventure race.
