When and why did you begin paragliding?2010. It was always my dream to fly like a bird.

What is your mountaineering experience?Many via ferratas in the Dolomites (my home) Oskar Schuster Plattkofel Lorenzi Antermoia Maximilian Schlern

What is your paragliding experience?A lot of competitions: Italy Cup, Xcflights Worldcup, Red Bull X-Alps, Boardairrace and Italian Championship.

What is your adventure racing / endurance sport experience?Red Bull X-Alps 2017 Hike and Fly world record 12069 hm 2018 Südtirol Ultra sky race 121km 7554 hm

What does your typical training week consist of?3 days Speed hiking with my glider and XC flying 2 days road bike-skimountering or climbing

What are your best and worst adventure/flying moments?Best moments: I had many good moments during my XC flights Worst moments: I had an accident in strong wind flying. I flew backwards into a hut.

What are the sporting moments you are most proud of?Participating in Red Bull X-Alps Qualifying for Worldcup Superfinal Mexico

When and how did you first hear about Red Bull X-Alps?When I started paragliding.

Have you competed in Red Bull X-Alps before and if so, when?2017.

What appeals to you about Red Bull X-Alps?the adventure of flying from Salzburg to Monaco, around the Alps in different countries, only by foot and paraglider.

What will be your strategy during the race?Fly safe fast and as far as I can.

Why do you think you will make it to the finish?My endurance is much better than 2017 and I've had two years more flying experience.

What scares you the most about the event?One week of rain.

Have you ever done anything of this magnitude before?Yes X-Alps 2017.
