When and why did you begin paragliding?My first flight was in 2001 in Italy. A guy in my local town had bought a glider, me and some friends were fascinated by it. I am the last one still flying.
Do you paraglide competitively? List rankings and events.I have done many PWC and one Europen and Worlds. I have been the Danish champion many times. I was also the Nordic Champion in 2016.
What is your mountaineering experience?I'm a mountaineer and I do cross country skiing as well as down hill skiing. I have also done Hike and fly racing in Norway and came in 3rd place.
What is your paragliding experience?I have been paragliding since 2001 and I have been racing since 2008. I have been flying CCC gliders since 2012.
What is your adventure racing / endurance sport experience?I do adventure racing on a regular basis, up to 24 hours races. My adventure racing includes kayaking, swimming, running, rock climbing and mountain biking.
What does your typical training week consist of?I start each day by greeting the sun and I do some yoga exercises. I like to run 2-3 days of the week.
What are your best and worst adventure/flying moments?My worst experience was the Himalayan slopes at 4000m when I had a full Asymmetric and I had to throw my reserve and after the deployment I found myself still climbing. The best experience was at the World Cup in Bulgaria when a pilot hit my canopy from behind but after that I flew 100k XC.
What are the sporting moments you are most proud of?Nordic champ in 2016.
When and how did you first hear about Red Bull X-Alps?I have been following it since the beginning.
Have you competed in Red Bull X-Alps before and if so, when?No.
What appeals to you about Red Bull X-Alps?It's the Red in the Bull!
What will be your strategy during the race?Winning, but if that fails I will have fun all the way.
Why do you think you will make it to the finish?The Viking team will help me through.
What scares you the most about the event?Nothing except losing.
