What is your mountaineering experience?I have the highest diploma with the French military moutain troops. I'm a mountain guide. I spent 8 years going to the French, Swiss and Italian Alps. I graduated from EMHM (ecole militaire de haute Montagne)
What is your paragliding experience?4 acro courses with Jokey Sanderson. Unofficial hike and fly record 9660m altitude gain in 21 hours (Lebanese Salewa dealer was present). 7 years doing cross country on C glide. Speed flying on Frazer 3. Tandem pilot and tadem paramoteur and I have a ffp certificate (federation franchise parachutist).
What is your adventure racing / endurance sport experience?I participated 3 times in PDG (patrouille Des glaciers in Switzerland). A lot of military climbing and moutaineering and backcountry skiing in the Dolomites and Chamonix. I win a lot of local competitions. I'm well known by the Lebanese sports society and I'm a ranger, mountaineer and paragliding instructor.
What does your typical training week consist of?Hiking with heights of 1000m positive altitude. Running with no weight on 1800m trail runs. Stand up paddling, upper body, core training and a lot of hike and fly
What are your best and worst adventure/flying moments?The best is the first time I did the helico acro move and when I broke the world record unofficially in Hike and fly .
What are the sporting moments you are most proud of?First place in penthallon (kayak, bike, ski, running and climbing).
When and how did you first hear about Red Bull X-Alps?6 years ago when I was in Chamonix.

What will be your strategy during the race?I have only one strategy. Not to be eliminated and to reach Monaco.
Why do you think you will make it to the finish?I was formed as a marine officer and a ranger in the USA and as a ranger instructor in the Lebanese army. I have a moutain guide diploma from the French army. I have been doing acro and cross country for years . So I have the will, the technical abilities and the endurance to compete in such a race. I will take any opportunity and will never surrender to make my son proud.
What scares you the most about the event?Failing to finish or being eliminated.
