When and why did you begin paragliding?10 years ago. Flying has been my dream all my life and every time that I climbed mountains I imagined flying.

Do you paraglide competitively? List rankings and events.Yes, I have been competing since 2009. In 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014 in Colombian Top 10 national Ranking. In 2014 - X-Pyr. Place 20 in 2015 - Red Bull X-Alps In 2016 - Air Tour: Place 12

What is your mountaineering experience?My main experience in mountaineering has been in the Andes. Summit Tolima volcano 5200 msnm (Colombia) Summit Nevado Santa Isabel 5000 msnm (Colombia) Summit Paramo del sol 4080 msnm (Colombia) Summit Paramo Caramanta 4000 msnm (Colombia) Attempt Summit Misti Volcano 5400 msnm (Peru) And many other mountains in the Andes between 3000 and 4000 msnm.

What is your paragliding experience?Flying for approximately 10 years. I've competed since 2009, flying more or less 300 hours a year. I prefer to fly XC, I have flown in the Andes in Ecuador, Peru, Argentina, In the Pyrenees and the Alps in Europe.

What is your adventure racing / endurance sport experience?I ran adventure races from 2013 to 2015. I run Ultra Marathons 1 or 2 times a year and also trail running.

What does your typical training week consist of?I run 3 times a week and mountain biking once a week. I strengthen myself at the gym 2 times per week.

What are your best and worst adventure/flying moments?I had an accident doing speedfly in 2016 and I broke my back.

What are the sporting moments you are most proud of?My race in Air Tour 2016 was an important finish; 12th place.

When and how did you first hear about Red Bull X-Alps?I saw this race online in 2009 from the website and Facebook.

Have you competed in Red Bull X-Alps before and if so, when?Yes. in 2015.

What appeals to you about Red Bull X-Alps?It's the most enduring adventure race in the world that combines my two passions, hike and fly plus trail runing

What will be your strategy during the race?Have a daily plan for the best route, know the restricted spaces and fly high all the time to get further.

Why do you think you will make it to the finish?because I will study the route very closely with my team and local pilots to form a good strategy every day of the race. Finishing the race is my goal.

What scares you the most about the event?An injury.

Have you ever done anything of this magnitude before?Yes.
