It's official! Chrigel is crowned for the 4th time
It's official. The Red Bull X-Alps has its winner. Earlier today Chrigel Maurer (SUI1) finished the journey he and supporter Thomas Theurillat had begun in Salzburg nine days earlier with a flight from Turnpoint 10, Peille, to a landing raft in the sea off Monaco.
His arrival at Peille last night sealed his win, the fourth in a row. At Peille the clock stops, giving him the second fastest time recorded in Red Bull X-Alps history: 8d 4h 37m.
